Current roster

Leaders in office now

Prime minister and premiers · sourced terms of office

Current federal, provincial, and territorial leaders, with start dates and official office records.

Leadership changes are checked nightly. Incoming leaders and expected swearing-in dates appear separately until an official record confirms that they have taken office. Announced dates can change; the last verified source is linked with each notice.

Changes over time

Leadership timeline

End dates are handover dates and are exclusive: the incoming leader's term begins that same day. This avoids gaps and assigns dated statements to exactly one officeholder.
