Ontario Expanding Protections for Tariff-Impacted Workers
Premier Doug Ford announced that Ontario is immediately expanding eligibility for the Protect Ontario Financing Program. The loan program will support businesses affected by new U.S. section 338 tariffs and existing section 232 tariffs on steel, aluminum, copper and automobiles, helping them manage working-capital costs including payroll, leases and utilities.
